- Select the New Hires tab on the Dashboard.
- Select the appropriate new hire Name link.
- Select the Verify Arrival button.
- Select Continue to acknowledge the warning message.
- Choose a past or present date from the Date New Hire Arrived for First Day of Duty calendar drop-down.
- Select Confirm.
Notes:
- This task should only be completed on or after the new hire has physically reported to their first day of work. Once this task has been marked complete, the following information will be displayed: "Verify the New Hire Arrived for their First Day of Duty task completed by [First Name Last Name on XX-XX-XXXX]". This task cannot be completed before the Hiring Need Validated Date captured on the attached request.
- The due dates of the Transmit Forms to eOPF and Transmit Documents to eOPF tasks will be set to 90 days from the new hire's start date when the Verify the New Hire Arrived for their First Day of Duty task is marked Complete. You can manually update the due date as needed. For instructions, see Modifying a task due date.
