- Select a vacancy.
- Select the Applicant Overview tab.
- Select the Name link in the Applicant Overview table.
- Select the Open Veterans’ Preference icon, if applicable.
- Use the Adjudicated Preference drop-down list to select the appropriate veterans’ preference category and enter a Veteran Document Date, if applicable.
- Select Save.
Note: If an applicant submits multiple applications during the open period of the announcement, any adjudications will be removed and the most recent application will be the application of record. The applicant history will reflect any changes to the veterans' preference.
