The Manage Tasks page is where you create, edit and delete tasks associated with the onboarding process. The Manage Tasks page displays a list of all task templates associated with the office(s) to which you have access.
Tasks are assignments that must be completed by an HR User, Hiring Manager, Onboarding User and/or New Hire in order to complete the staffing process. Tasks can include assignments such as completing forms, uploading documents, background investigation requirements, fingerprint appointments, etc.
To access this section, select Admin on the Dashboard, the Admin Home tab displays, select the Manage Tasks link in the Workflow section to open the Manage Tasks page. The number to the right indicates how many templates are available. You can sort any of the columns in this table in ascending or descending order.
The following elements are displayed:
- Create Task. This button allows you to create a new task. For instructions, see Creating a task template.
- All Task Types. This drop-down list allows you to filter task templates by type.
- All Purposes. This drop-down list allows you to filter task templates by purpose of Staffing or Onboarding.
- Tag. This drop-down list allows you to filter task templates based on selected Tags, such as Occupational Family, Appointing Authority or Office. For additional information, Tags.
- Show System Templates. This toggle will all you to include the system tasks in your table.
- Task Name search field. This field allows you to search tasks by name. The system will automatically perform a partial search as you type and display the results under the field.
- Task Name. This is the name assigned to the task template. Access a task template by selecting the link.
- Type. This column displays type of task associated with the template.
- Purpose. This column displays the purpose of the task.
- Status. This column displays the status of the task.
- Owned By. This column displays the owner of the task.
