The SME Evaluation Item page is where you are able to create SME Evaluation Items.
To access this section, select Admin on the Dashboard, the Admin Home tab displays, select the Manage SME Evaluation Items link in the Libraries section to open the SME Evaluation Item Library tab.
The following elements are displayed:
- Header. This is the name of the SME Evaluation Item.
- Owning Office. This drop-down list allows you to assign the office responsible for the SME Evaluation Item.
- Tags. This drop-down list allows you to add tags to your SME Evaluation Item, such as Occupational Family, Appointing Authority or Office. For additional information, see: Tags.
- Series. This drop-down list allows you select the appropriate series.
- Grade(s). This drop-down list allows you select the appropriate grade.

Competency. This column displays the competency the SME evaluation item to which the item is linked.

. This icon allows you to search for Competency.

. This icon allows you to remove the selected Competency Network.
- Screen-Out Toggle. This toggle allows you to default to the Screen-Out item. The system defaults this toggle to enabled.

- Response Type. This is the scale used for the SME Evaluation Item. The system defaults to Multiple Choice - Single Select.
- Scale. This is the scale used for the SME Evaluation Item. The system defaults to Resume Reflects Experience.
- Item Text. This field allows you to input SME evaluation item text. The character limit is 10,000.
