The How would you like to create your Position Description? modal is where you are presented with the two options for developing a Position Description in USA Staffing.
You may select Create PD with AI to generate a draft position description using USA Class’s AI-assisted classification tool, currently available for 9-Factor FES positions. This two-prong approach gives users flexibility to either build the PD themselves or leverage USA Class to support a faster draft-development process. Selecting this option will open USA Class in a new browser tab.
You may select Upload or Create PD in USA Staffing to generate a position description using the manual approach by uploading or creating the position description directly in USA Staffing, which supports FES, FWS, Narrative, and Flexible classification systems.
The following elements are displayed:

Create PD with AI. This button allows you to transition to the USA Class to use the AI-assisted classification tool. For more information, see: USA Class Resources and Starting a New Classification request.

- Only 9-Factor FES (Factor Evaluation System) positions are supported at this time.
- Your USA Staffing Account Manager will work with your agency to grant access to USA Class.
