- Create an interdisciplinary vacancy.
- Select the Assessment Package tab. For instructions, see: Opening a tab.
- Select Assessment Package tab. The Select Template tab displays
- The Assessment Package Search page displays. The fields default to the selections on the Staffing Approach page. Proceed or make changes if necessary.
- Select the Show Results button.
- To select the desired template, select the Assessment Package Template Name.
- The confirmation message “Are you sure you want to copy this assessment package?” displays.
- Select Copy Assessment Package.
- If the Rating Combination(s) are not an exact match, you may be required to map your destination rating combination. Map the rating combinations appropriately.
- Select Copy Assessment Package.
- After the Copy has finalized, select the Assessment Name.
- Review Competencies, edit as necessary.
- Select Assessment Questionnaire, edit as necessary.
- Select Screen-Out Criteria.
- Review Screen-Out(s), edit as necessary.
- Enter the Screen-Out Name, such as Basic Education Requirement.
- Check the appropriate Apply Screen-Out to Rating Combinations (e.g. 0840-12 and 1306-12)
- Choose the appropriate Ineligibility Code.
- Choose the first question for Basic Education Requirement for your position.
- Check all Not Qualifying Responses for the series. (e.g. 0840)
- Select Add Item to add the second question for Basic Education Requirement for your position. (e.g. 1306)
- Check all Not Qualifying Responses for the series. (e.g. 1306)
- Select Save and Close.
- Complete the remaining areas of the Assessment Plan as you would with any other assessment.
Note: Basic educational requirements may require multiple questions on the assessment questionnaire. When creating a Screen-out Criteria for Basic Education Requirement, only one needs to be created, but will include all questions by using the Add Item button, ensuring all Rating Combinations are included.
