Assessment Templates is where assessment package templates are created, edited and decommissioned independent of any vacancy number. This page displays a list of all assessment package templates associated with the offices to which you have access.
To access this section, select Admin on the Dashboard, the Admin Home tab displays, select the Manage Assessment Package Templates link in the Templates section to open the Templates tab, and the Assessment Templates page displays. The number to the right indicates how many templates are available. You can sort any of the columns in this table in ascending or descending order.
The following elements are displayed:
- Create Template. This button allows you to create a new assessment package template. For instructions, see: Creating an assessment package template.

Modify Filters. This button allows you to select and apply filters to search or sort assessment package templates on the following criteria:
- All Series. This drop-down list allows you to filter assessment package templates by series.
- All Grades. This drop-down list allows you to filter assessment package templates by grade.

Status. This drop-down list allows you to filter new hires in a specific status. Statuses include:
- Draft. This is the default for all assessment package templates when created.
- Published. Only published templates may be searched for and used in vacancies. This option is defaulted.
- Retired. This indicates an assessment package template has been deleted.
- Owning Office. This drop-down list allows you to filter assessment package templates by where the assessment package template resides.
- Tag. This drop-down list allows you to filter assessment package templates based on selected Tags, such as Occupational Family, Appointing Authority or Office. For additional information, see: Tags.
- Created By. This drop-down list allows you to filter assessment package templates by the name of the user who created the assessment package template.

Date Milestone. This drop-down list allows you to filter assessment package templates by milestone date.
- Created Date
- Last Edited Date
- Start Date
- End Date
- Interdisciplinary. This toggle allows you to only show assessment package templates marked as Interdisciplinary.
- USA Hire. This toggle allows you to only show assessment package templates marked as USA Hire.
- Template Name search field. This field allows you to search assessment package templates by template name.
- Position Description Number search field. This field allows you to search assessment package templates by position description number.
- Position Title search field. This field allows you to search assessment package templates by position title.
- Assessment Package Template Name. This column displays the assessment package template name. Access an assessment package template by selecting on the link.
- Owning Office. This column displays the name of the office where the assessment package template resides.
- Created By. This column displays the name of the user who created the assessment package template.
- Date Created. This column displays the date timestamp of when the assessment package template was created.
- Last Edited. This column displays the date timestamp of when the assessment package template was last edited.
